The Vero table is the star feature of this project for a private villa with large windows that make the most of the marvellous natural surroundings. The Noce Oliato finish perfectly sets off the extraordinary natural material of the table, crafted using twin solid wood boards obtained from the same trunk and perfectly fastened together with special made-to-measure wooden joints. This solid union symbolises the smooth, seamless balance that exists between indoors and outdoors, interior design and nature, matter and form. The floors and the bookcase, made to measure in pale-coloured wood, engage with the light entering the room from the exterior, for a striking cosy yet light, airy effect.
